NYC is the type of city that there's always something going on from sporting events to cultural activities, this city has something for everyone. We've all had friends and family come and stay with us in New York and we race around playing host to them, showing them all the exciting things this city has to offer. Well, this time it's mine turn to play host. 강남풀싸롱 I have a friend visiting from abroad this long-weekend and I'm going to show him around and hopefully we'll have time to fit in some classic NYC events. There are so many great things about New York from Central Park to Broadway and the Empire State building the list goes on and on. The hardest thing is packing all the New York events and activities into one weekend.

So what's the best way about organizing activities and events for a weekend of fun in New York? For starters the local paper is a good resource. Papers normally print in advance lists of up and coming NYC events and activities. Another good resource is the Internet you can find lots of information on things to do. But, before you rush of and start searching for things to do, you need to work out what your friends are into and establish if they've been to New York before. There's no point in organizing a NYC event like Broadway if they have no interest in going to the theatre. An event you may be interested in like the baseball your friends may have no interest in it at all. Also, if it's your friend's first visit to NYC they may be more interested in visiting major landmarks and shopping rather than attending famous New York events.

This Labor Day weekend and every weekend in New York they're a smorgasbord of events on. Starting a little earlier than the weekend but well worth a mention is the baseball, which is starting tonight. If you like sport, baseball is a must see event in NYC. The most famous baseball team in the world, the New York Yankees are in trouble. They're about to not miss out on the final series for the first time in 10 years and they're up against their arch rivals Boston in a 3 game series. Another major sporting event in New York this weekend is the US Open Tennis. Each year the best tennis players in the world head to Queens to fight it out for the final Grand Slam tennis event of the year. There are many other NYC events to talk about including Broadway which have many hot shows on at the moment, including Wicked, Spamalot, Hairspray and Lion King to name a few. If you're an art fan a trip to two of New York's most famous art galleries is a must. The MOMA and Guggenheim both have loads of events on during the long-weekend, check their websites for listings.
