Kelp and Seaweeds
WHAT ARE KELP & SEAWEED?
While many people may associate seaweed exclusively with Asian culture, most specifically with sushi, it is in fact, a superfood that should be a staple in everyone’s diet. The term seaweed (or macroalgae), refers to thousands of species of macroscopic, multicellular, marine algae. Some of the most common types of these include KELP, nori, wakame, kombu, dulse, and blue-green algae, such as spirulina and chlorella.
